How can I change the interface language of eclipse. My operating system is my language (not English) and whenever i run IDL or ENVI+IDL the IDL interface appears on this language. However I would prefer English.

Indeed, when you install and run IDL the default Environment will match the locales of your Operating System.
If you copy and paste from the start menu the IDL icon to your desktop and check from the properties of your icon-Link you will find the the path that will look something like this :

"C:\Program Files\ITT\IDL70\idlde\idlde.exe"

Then you just have to edit including the natural language command (nl) and specify e.g. English. The path then should look like this :

"C:\Program Files\ITT\IDL70\idlde\idlde.exe" -nl en

You could try German as well if you wish... eg

"C:\Program Files\ITT\IDL70\idlde\idlde.exe" -nl de
