1. Some help functions are not compatible with Firefox 3.0, Safari, and Chrome web browsers.
The Search button in ENVI EX Help is not supported for Firefox 3.0. The Index and Add to Favorites functions may not work properly in the Safari web browser for Macintosh. Google Chrome is a beta product and, although most functions of ENVI EX Help will work properly with Chrome, it is not yet considered a supported browser.

2. Help does not display when ENVI is installed in a custom location on Windows XP without Service Pack 2
Windows XP Service Pack 2 is required when installing ENVI in a custom directory

3.Help fails to launch from screen level help links on Windows Vista
When clicking on a help or tip link in ENVI EX on Windows Vista machines with Internet Explorer, the help fails to launch. Workaround: From Internet Explorer, click the Alt key to display the toolbar, select Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab, disable the checkbox “Enable Protected Mode,” and restart Internet Explorer.

4. Overview window path history does not rotate along with the image
When rotating an image, the yellow path history in the Overview window does not accurately reflect the location displayed in the Image window.

5. Cannot remove Portals in the Layer Manager with the right-click menu when a Workflow is running
The Remove right-click menu option is disabled for a Portal layer while a Workflow function is running. Workaround: click the X button in the Portal toolbar to close the Portal.

6. Spatial subset "Use Display Extent" option unavailable for ESRI layer files (.lyr)
The Use Display Extent button on the Spatial Subset dialog is disabled for ESRI layer files. You can enter a number of samples and lines in the fields provided to subset the image.

7. Pyramid files created for non-unique image names contained in read-only directories give errors.
If you open an image from a read-only directory, the corresponding pyramid file is created in the temporary directory. If you then open a different image that is named the same as the previous image (also in a read-only directory), ENVI EX attempts to reuse the previous pyramid file and either displays bad data or issues an error. Workaround: Copy your data locally and delete any pyramids from the temporary directory.

8. Annotations in NITF files do not rotate with view in Print
NITF annotations do not honor the Rotate with View property in Print.

9. Images with stretch applied in ArcMap do not display in ENVI EX.
Applying a stretch to an image in ArcMap, then dragging and dropping that image into ENVI Zoom causes the image to display incorrectly in ENVI Zoom. This appears to happen with images in ENVI raster format whenever ArcMap does not yet compute statistics. Workaround: Apply the stretch to the image in ArcMap, remove the image from ArcMap, redisplay the image in ArcMap, then drag-and-drop the image into ENVI Zoom.

10. Preview Portal contents are incorrect near tile boundaries
When using the Preview Portal in the Cleanup step of the Image Difference Change Detection workflow, the Portal contents are incorrect near tile boundaries.

11. GeoLink changes ArcMap resampling to bilinear.
Using Geo Link to ArcMap when an image is displayed in ENVI EX and ArcMap changes the ArcMap resampling to bilinear instead of honoring the default resampling setting.

12. Loading a mask from a geodatabase causes internal error.
Using a geodatabase feature class stored in a feature dataset as a mask input to Feature Extraction causes an internal error.

13. Image Difference workflow produces an error when exporting Class Image, Vectors, and Difference Image to file-based geodatabase.
Exporting the Class Image, Vectors, and the Difference Image from the Image Difference workflow to a file-based geodatabase produces an error. Selecting to export two of the three options alleviates the error.

14. Chip Display to Print of rotated image exported to PDF reports incorrect coordinates
Using the Chip Display To -> Print option on an image that was rotated, then exporting that image (via the Export button) to PDF results in the Geospatial Location Tool reporting incorrect latitude for the image.

15. Dragging any image type except true-color onto the Classification workflow reverts the image to true color
If you load a color-infrared or other false-color combination as a new layer into ENVI EX and drag the new layer onto the Classification workflow in the Toolbox, a true-color image displays instead.

16. Sending the source data of an ESRI layer in a geodatabase to ENVI via the Open in ENVI button results in an error.
If you open an ESRI layer file from a geodatabase, select the source data for that file in the Data Manager, and click the Open Selected Files in ENVI button, an error will display. The file can be opened directly into ENVI from the Remote Connection Manager in ENVI.

The above issues apply in ENVI Zoom as well
