IMSL_GENEIG procedure

I need to use the IMSL_GENEIG procedure in a program in order to make some calculations for my research.
I found that I need a license in order to use it. Why is this?

Generaly functions starting with IMLS belong to the IMLS statistical library that requires IDL Analyst rather than IDL. That's why even for trial licenses you have to have an IDL analyst trial license.
